According to the Bible, this world/age as we currently know it will cease to exist one day. One of the most sobering things for us to acknowledge is that God destroyed the previous world. Sobering because if God did it before, it is a real possibility for it to happen again. Only eight souls in the first world were saved. God saved Noah’s house because Noah found grace in the eyes of God.

It’s vitally important for the church to talk about the return of the Lord and the end of the world as we currently know it. These days, we tend to preach and act too much like the Lord is never coming back. But His return is not a myth. It’s going to happen because God said so.

Jesus said the end of the world will be as it was in the days of Noah. The world had become so corrupt that God had had enough. He said to Noah, “The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them from the earth” (Gen 6:13, KJV). In this podcast episode, Evangelist Frank King addresses some lessons we can learn from the end of the world in Noah’s day.
