Some people seem to think that they can run from God or hide from Him or even ignore Him. But when we fight the will of God for our life, we make it hard on ourselves. He does not do tit for tat in dealing with us. He doesn’t literally beat up on us when we disobey His will. But the truth is that you can never win, resisting His efforts to get your attention.
There is no limit to the means God has to get our attention. They include dreams, conviction of the Holy Spirit, circumstances, etc. The more we ignore God the more loudly He speaks, though not literally.
